What is the role of the Eden Economic Development Corporation?

The Eden Economic Development Corporation is an organization whose mission is to promote economic development within the City of Eden. The function of this organization is to assist businesses within the City of Eden to get started, and also to succeed and grow, helping to develop economic growth.

How are economic development corporations funded in Texas?

Voters in the City of Eden voted to impose a local sales and use tax under Section 4B of the Development Corporation Act of 1979 to help finance economic development efforts.
