Where Business Success Meets Personal Serenity

The Eden Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) in partnership with the City of Eden offers confidential, high-energy assistance to growing and relocating businesses.  In addition to its 45-acre industrial park, Eden offers grants, loans, tax abatements, small business development services and global marketing to qualified business ventures with a focus of ensuring long-term economic success for both business and the community.

4B Sales Tax

The EEDC oversees the expenditure of one-half over every cent of sales tax collected in Eden for use in projects focused on quality of life improvements, including economic development projects that attract and retain primary employers.   Expenditures can be in the form of grants or loans which enhance the business venture's abilty to prosper and grow, and can be used for both new and existing business.

Loan Program

In cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture, the Eden Economic Development Corporation has established an $825,000 loan assistance program for small business owners in Concho County.  The USDA Intermediary Relending Program (IRP) provides low interest, long term financing for working capital and fixed assets with a focus of expanding the trade area for the business as well as ensuring Concho County's long-term economic sustainability.
