            Notice is hereby given that the city council of the City of Eden, Texas will meet in special session on Monday August 30, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the council chambers of City Hall, 120 Paint Rock Street.  The council may take action on any items on this agenda it may determine would be appropriate.

            The subject matter of the meeting is as follows:
•1.       Call to Order
•2.       Discuss and act upon proposing of tax rate
•3.       Take record vote & schedule public hearings (if proposed tax rate will exceed the rollback rate or the effective tax rate- whichever is lower)

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the attached notice of the city council of the City of Eden, Texas is a true and correct copy of said notice.  I posted true and correct copy of said notice on the front entrance door of the City Hall, in a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public, being posted at least 72 hours proceeding the time of the meeting.
